So, how the heck do you get motivated? It’s an honest question and one that many of us struggle to answer. Considering how much spare time we’ve all had due to national and now regional lockdowns, there’s never been a better time for us to get off our bums and do the things we’ve been putting off for ages. But having the time is one thing – having the WANT to do it is something else.
There is something quite special about receiving a homemade postcard from somebody you love. It is a quality that exceeds Facebook posts and tweets and is something personal to both the recipient and sender.
Starting in a new office can be intimidating. You’ve successfully beat all other applicants to that coveted job and a start date has been set. But will you fit in? Forget the job for the moment and think about your new colleagues, your new work family if you will. How many are there, how big is your team, can you be yourself around them?
With all the craziness of late surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, we are happy to say that Blue Wonder is back to some semblance of normality, relatively speaking. We are finally back in the office, observing social distancing of course, but services are in full flow. It’s nice to be back in the rhythm of day to day services without having to have meetings through skype. It will be a while before everything will be completely normal again, not just here but around the globe, but it’s nice to feel the office spirit once again.
